Reiya Downs is a Canadian television actress best known for bringing to life Shay Powers in the hit teen series Degrassi: The Next Generation and Degrassi: Next Class.

She scored her first acting role in 2005's Four Brothers, playing the daughter of Taraji Henson's character.

In 2013, she starred as Minerva Mayo in the television show and video game Time Tremors.

​

Her mother, Elle, and her sister, Riele, are both popular Canadian actresses.
